Your data is yours.
The biggest hesitation homeowners have about uploading a contractor quote is simple: “What if the contractor finds out?” Here is our direct answer to that — and every other privacy concern you might have.
Our guarantees
Six things we promise about your data
Contractors never see your upload
The contractor who gave you the quote has no way to identify who uploaded it or request access to it. Your upload exists only in our secure system. Period.
Your name is never attached to shared data
When your quote contributes to our pricing dataset, it is fully anonymized — stripped of your name, address, and any identifying information before being aggregated with other quotes.
We never sell your data
Your quote data is never sold to third parties, never shared with advertisers, and never used to generate leads for contractors. The dataset exists to help homeowners — not to market to them.
Encryption at rest and in transit
All uploaded files and account data are encrypted at rest and transmitted over HTTPS. File storage is isolated and access-controlled. Your files are not publicly accessible.
Delete your data any time
You can delete any individual quote — including the underlying file — from your account at any time. Your data will be removed from our systems within 30 days.
No spam, no contractor calls
Uploading a quote does not put your contact information in front of contractors. We will never share your phone number or email with any contractor or lead-generation service.
What we do with your quote
When you upload a quote, our AI extracts the pricing data — line items, totals, service category, and location. This powers two things:
- Your personalized analysis. We show you whether the price is high, low, or in range compared to real data from your area. This analysis is private to you.
- Anonymous local pricing data. With your contribution (and many others), we build a dataset of what things actually cost in each city and service category. This anonymized aggregate data is what powers the pricing guides on this site.
Your name, your address, your contractor’s name — none of these appear in the aggregated dataset. Only: service type, city, state, and price range.
Privacy questions, answered directly
Will the contractor know I uploaded their quote?
No. There is no mechanism by which a contractor can identify who uploaded a quote from them. Your upload is private by default.
Is my address exposed?
Your full address is never required and never displayed publicly. The city and state from your quote may be used to categorize local pricing data — nothing more.
How long do you keep my uploaded files?
Original quote files (PDFs, photos) are retained for 90 days by default to allow re-analysis, then automatically deleted. You can delete your files at any time from your account.
Who can see my quote data?
Within Zollera, access to raw quote data is limited to a small team that reviews uploads for quality and compliance. No one outside this team can access individual quotes.
Do you share data with AI providers?
Quote content is processed by our AI system (Google Gemini) to extract pricing information. This processing is governed by Google's data processing terms and your data is not used to train their models. We do not share personal identifiers with any AI provider.
What happens if I delete my account?
Deleting your account removes all personally identifiable information. Anonymized quote data that has been aggregated into the pricing dataset may remain as aggregate statistics — it cannot be traced back to you.
Ready to see if your quote is fair?
Your upload is anonymous by default. No contractor calls. No spam. Just data.
